You want to write code to send an email and attach a file to it. Use LotusScript or Java, read about the EmbedObject method. Call Update method also. If this is a server agent, it will need special permissions to access the server’s disk.

It is required if you want to read the file off of disk. If the attachment is already stored in a rich text field somewhere, you should be able to use CopyItemToDocument or AppendRTItem to get a copy in your new memo without having to ever access the disk directly. This does not require unrestricted access for a server agent.
