I have this exact problem. The problem occurs when you have the preview pane on and you try to delete the full screen email that is currently in the preview. The preview pane must have some kind of lock on the email that is being viewed.
Are you sure the preview pane is off and not just minimized somewhere?
Try this:
Double click an email message to maximize it.
Go back to your email and hightlight a different email.
Go back to the email that you originally maximized.
Delete it.
If it still gives you the error then it’s something else. If it doesn’t, then verify the preview pane is off by going to View->Document Preview->Show Preview and making sure there is no check there.
You have it i selected another mail on my inbox and it work great.Lotus should take care of that by automatically moving the preview to the next mail when going to full screen or when pressing Delete button.
Please Mr Lotus note this We Lotus Notes Admins would have less problems with users!
Just a concern. If it does automatically move to the next mail, I would believe it should take into consideration what the current sort order of the view is. For example, if the sort is decending, then it should move up. If it is Ascending, then it should move down? This would make sense as your moving through unread documents.
