What is Itemize and Serialize defining?

Subject: Mail delay - SMTP

If you use the command “tell router sh” at the server console, you will see why some messages are waiting to be delivered. It could be a DNS issue, the recipients SMTP server may be down or not responding, or something else.

Looks like all of your delayed messages are gone. Next time, use the tell command to help start troubleshooting the delivery. You might have something in the Notes Log, depending on your Logging Level or any debug parameters that you may have set. It may not make sense, but you could increase the SMTP debug settings. However, it will create extra entries in the Log, which you may not like.

Thank you for your input. Do you know what itemize and serialize represents in the mail header?

Subject: RE: Mail delay - SMTP

Not sure about serialize, but itemize is when Domino converts the mail message and drops it into mail.box for delivery.

Thank you. I figured out the serialize part late yesterday. It’s the time that a user views the source (header info).
