Mail database empty

Hi there,

I’m a “none-technical” user who is trying to open an “old”, encrypted mailbox 142MB large (from v8.5 I think) in order to find some old mails.

I have the old as_hakan.nsf and the related id-file. Not having access to Notes any longer I made a stand alone installation of Notes v9 from the IBM demo/trial site and opened the mail file but the only thing I see is a blank view called $autosave. Am I doing something wrong, did I save the wrong mail file or is it actually not even possible to do what I’m trying to do?

Hi,

as_hankan.nsf is not a mail database but an auto-save file.

The mail db should be in the mail directory : \mail\hankan.nsf.
