Can anyone suggest why an email being sent as plain text, from a monitoring system, would be converted to rich text when it arrived in a main-in database?

Subject: Mail-In DB Settings
There is a field in the mail-in DB settings called “Internet message storage”. Make sure it is set to No Preference, or whatever you see fit. This will change the format of internet messages going into the DB, or leave it as-is based on this setting.
