Trying to run a compactor by program at 3am. Compactor does not run at all and I receive no error messages. Using the compact -r mail, as we are running 6.5 on the server, but have not migrated all of our users from 5.12. Does a setting have to be made in the notes.ini?

I don’t understand why you use the -r that doesn’t exist. -R exists and is case sensitive.
The problem is that on Domino 6 servers, this option compacts Domino 5 databases without converting them to the Domino 6 file format and converts Domino 6 databases to the Domino 5 file format. So, the R5 database you try to keep on their format will remain but the ND6 database will then be reconverted to R5 format.
