Unless something is wrong with my Domino servers, why does the standard mail.box template in Domino have 2 identical Mail views?

The only difference I see is one has an alias and one doesn’t.

Reason I’m asking is one view on my mailserver has a bunch of documents which when I try and open are giving the error “Invalid or nonexistent document”, but they do not appear in the second Mail view. Doing a Ctrl+Shift+F9 makes no difference.

You could have some corruption of your mail.box. Down the router and SMTP. Delete mail.box. Start Router and SMTP.

A new mail.box will be created, and the problem should be gone.

Thanks, I’ll give that a try, but it still doesn’t explain why there are 2 views
