Hi, We need message size control for Incoming & Outgoing mails.We having 2 types are users set - One should allowed message size 10 Mb & other should allow upto 5 Mb only.On Domain i can set Message size limit but for user base deafult option not present.Again i want when user try to send message on localy it should check message size and block mail if message size more than his limit before routing.

Kindly suggest.

You cannot do this easily.

You could :

  • Have two different Domino servers, hosting each a group of users. Then you play on the Configuration Setting for each server.

  • User Server Mail Rules. With conditions like :

“if sender is … then block message”.

Not so adaptable though.

Otherwise, you will have to customize the design of the user’s mail databases.
