Mail.box corrupt

Hi all,

I have problem that frequently happen. My mail.box corrupt, when I track the log, most of error message are “Error importing RFC822 message stream - invalid message header syntax likely”.

Below is one of log message prior mail.box corrupt :

23-11-2006 04:08:55 PM SMTP Server: Error importing RFC822 message stream - invalid message header syntax likely

23-11-2006 04:08:56 PM SMTP Server: 88.229.49.80 disconnected. 0 message[s] received

23-11-2006 04:08:57 PM Router: Error updating message 00323FCB recipients list: Database is corrupt – Cannot allocate space

23-11-2006 04:09:01 PM SMTP Server: Error storing received message

23-11-2006 04:09:02 PM SMTP Server: 66.94.237.54 disconnected. 0 message[s] received

23-11-2006 04:09:03 PM SMTP Server: 88.229.49.80 connected

23-11-2006 04:09:06 PM SMTP Server: Error opening mail box: Database is corrupt – Cannot allocate space

Usually to solve this, simply I just fixup it, or rename the mail.box file. But several day later it is happen again. Is there any better solution to solve this ? Or do I miss some setting ?

Fyi, I install domino 7.0.1 on Windows 2000 server.

Subject: mail.box corrupt

it is always hard to tell what the cause is of a corrupt DB, from a description. I recommend to check when the mail.box get’s corrupt, what is happening just before.Please read the fix list of the 7.0.2 release, i saw strange router problems with mail conversation, on earlier releases!

Hi,

We do had same problem with corruption of mail boxes.

We tried with re - creating the mail boxes and perhaps it continued.

Please just look Log.Nsf is corrupted, if so re - create the log file and i advice is to re - create log and mail boxes once in 6 months.

We do fixup (In Program Document) for mail box issues.

fixup is availabe from the adminstrator console. Right click and choose. alternatively you can “load fixup mail.box” from server console after stopping server

Try stop the server service, delete the file mail.box and restart the server service.João

I have schedule the programe for updall and Fixup on server

This is working Fine
