Can anybody advise what the minimum level of access should be to enable a delegated user of a colleague’s mailbox to select and archive a document? We have a number set up with edit rights (in both delegation and ACL), who can read and edit the archive ok, but seem not to be able to archive a specific document.

They will need to have editor rights with “create shared folders” ticked in the archive db. Also, they need editor rights with “delete docs” in the mail db. And(!) they need editor rights to the archive logs database (which can be opened via the “Actions / Archive / Open Log” menu within the owner’s mail file).
There may be scope for using Authors access in some scenarios but I expect this will cause errors depending on what’s being archived.
