I need to forward mail from a user account on one of our remote mail servers called tab/domain name/CA (not configured for SMTP only Notes Mail running version 5.0.9) to a Blackberry. The mail leaves the remote server and is forwarded to our Notes Mail server called watneys/domain name/CA (configured to send SMTP mail running version 5.0.9) and then goes to our Linux gateway. My problem – Our Linux gateway is configured to only send out mail from known users. The agent I am running on the User mail sends out using the server name tab/domain name/CA and so is not forwarded once it reaches the gateway. I have tried changing the “Principal” field using the Notes GUI and then sending the mail, but it permanently changes it in the mail message in the users inbox and the message is still not sent. It seems that it should be simplicity in itself to do this….Where am I going wrong?
