Hi,
is anybody experiencing machine reboot upon server startup?
I’ve just downloaded the 7.0.2 server installation from IBM downloads. I can run the setup and the configuration wizard.
But machine is rebooting (blue screen of death!) each time I try to launch the server. I can see server “started on physical node xxxx” on the console and… ‘badaboum’!
It occures starting the server either in service or application mode. I’ve tried and reproduced it on 2000 and XP in 2 different networks.
Any feedback welcome…
APO

I forgot to mention : no.Things go quickly: server is starting up, “started on physical node xxxx”… and…
blue screen of death on XP, warm reboot on 2000.
I was wondering if the installation release available for download was error free. But I guess many people would have reported it already.

I 2 have downloaded R7 but for redhat. no issues. I guess mostly its issue with the installation file or by now it could have been noticeable … Would suggest to download another copy or 7.1 to see if you have the same issue.

The same with 7.0.1 on XP. No luck.Computers are both running PC-Cillin (AV + firewall).
I’ll investigate and report any news.
TFYH!
