Mac Single to mulit-user 7.0.3 - not possible see last post

I am trying to remove a single user (on a Mac) in order to re-install as a multi-user version. Everything I have tried leaves something so that the installer only gives the Upgrade option …

Mac doesn’t have an unistall process - you just zapp the files - so any idea what I am missing???

Subject: Did you delete Preferences?

In addition to deleting the Program and data folders, be sure to delete the Lotus Notes Preferences file.

yes, but maybe only to trash … let me try zapping trash …

Subject: Single to mulit-user 7.0.3 - NOT POSSIBLE!!

Just in case anyone is trying to do this rather obvious thing - multi-user installs are not now possible with v3 on OS X!!!See: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=203&context=SSKTWP&dc=DA410&dc=DA450&dc=DA430&dc=DA440&dc=D600&dc=D700&dc=DB510&dc=DB520&dc=D800&dc=D900&dc=DA900&dc=DA800&dc=DB540&dc=DB400&dc=DB560&dc=DA420&dc=DA460&dc=DB300&dc=DA470&dc=DA480&dc=DB100&dc=DA4A10&dc=DA4A20&dc=DA700&dc=DA4A30&dc=DB550&dc=D100&q1=multiuser+install&uid=swg21110225&loc=en_US&cs=UTF-8&lang=all

Quote:Multi-user is not supported in the Notes 7.x client on Macintosh. This issue has been reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# ZHLI6N6DT5. From the Nogtes 7.x release notes: … An enhancement request, for a Multi-user install option on the Mac platform, has been submitted to Quality Engineering.

Wonder if this will catch up in time for 8.0.1 when we are promised a Notes client that works (consistently???) on Leopard.

– all this at a time when Apple have their best ever range of desktops for businesses … as long as you have one each, don’t want to use Leopard, and don’t mind the odd (??) crash or three …
