I think I know what the answer wll be, but I want to make sure: is the Mac OS X client a Carbon or Cocoa app?

I figured. Too bad IBM won’t make it a Cocoa app…then we could use all the nifty Services features, and the built in spell-checker.

Aye, but we have to dream on. The Notes client has pretty sketchy support on the Mac platform, both in terms of features and actual “support” and it’s not going to get any better. We might get to use the “rich client” in version 8 if we’re good though ;o)
