I’ve encountered an annoying problem in compability with Outlook and Lotus calendar:
When an invitation is send via Outlook and an attachment is added to this invitation all Notes clients do have problem with accepting this
meeting. The message all users get is: One or more of the source document’s attachment are missing. Run Fixup to delete the document in the
source database.
After cliking OK another error info is displayed: Notes Error - One or more of the source document’s attachment are missing. Run Fixup to
delete the document in the source database.
The sender receives an confirmation that the invitation has been accepted and in Notes there is a message: You have accepted this meeting
invitation a but no entry is seen in Lotus Notes calendar. After closing this message I’m not able to reopen it. The message is: Document
has been deleted.
After doing some tests I’ve found that:
If I open and accept the invitation and then decline it, after reopening I have the possibility to accept it for the second time and it all
goes with no problems - new calendar entry available in Notes (the inconvenience is that the invitation response goes two times)
Any ideas where the problem is?? Do any of you have such a “functionality”?
