Subject: RE: Lotus traveler (mail routing)
Traveler runs as a task on the Domino server and leaves the mail routing to the Domino router. However, most of the mails are sent through the user’s mail database, so they would actually be routed by the mail server for the user and not the Traveler server. The only exception to this are invitations responses and SMS messages which are sent from the Traveler server. You should be able to set up the routing on the Domino server running Traveler just like you do the other Domino servers.
If that is what you have done and it is still not working, we probably need more information on your scenario/setup.
Subject: i think it wont work
Since in the Traveler-DB the location and Home-Serverof the User’s Mailbox is marked,
you need a Traveler-Domino server sitting in the DMZ and have a direct Connection to your Notes-Mailserver using Notes-Port, not going over smtp
