Lotus Traveler InBox not Showing Up

I have a Lotus Traveler user who’s inbox in his email database on our domino server got corrupt. Nothing that I did would fix it so, I gave him a new email database with the same name as his old db and with the same ACL etc.

When he syncs with his phone, his Inbox is not syncing. It is almost as if the software is still looking as his old email db because if you go in and try to manager his folders, all the folders from his old DB are listed.

We are on Lotus Domino 8.5 and Traveler 8.5.

I have applied the latest fixes and this is still happening.

Also, I went in and completely deleted him from Traveler on the server and removed everything including the Windows Mobile client from his phone. Any ideas of where else I may need to look? His old DB is still available for reference on the server but has a completely different replica ID, file name etc.

Subject: Traveler and delete user

Try this:

  • uninstall client from device - also, hard reset of device may be usefull if user does not have a lot of data on the device.

  • On Traveler server run tell traveler delete *

    This will delete the user from the database.

  • Open the ntsclcache.nsf database and delete any entries for this user.

  • Restart Domino to clear any runtime cache.

  • install Client on device and perform a sync.

If this still does not work let us know.
