Lotus Traveler Authentication

We are running Lotus Traveler (8.5.2) on a Domino on Linux server. Our Nokia N97 connects successfully, but keeps on asking to authenticate (every 2 minutes):

Could not authenticate with the server. Please verify that your password is correct.

XXX@XXX.XXX

Password

XXXXXX

What configuration setting did we miss?
