We are trying to configure the Lotus Traveler server (we are on version 8.5.1.1) to not include attachments in the messages that users receive. Our user base which are iPhones only can all download and view the attachments they receive. The setting is disabled in the Lotus Traveler Device Settings - Preferences - Filter Settings. Is there some way to enforce this?Thanks

Check into setting up user policies. One of the settings can be for Traveler where you can set the option to ‘Set value and Prevent Changes’ and then ‘Enforce’.
Then of course, don’t forget to apply the policy to each of your users under the administration tab of their person documents in your address book.

That seems to have fixed the issue, thanks Erik. Once that was policy was created and enforced on the specific users, it removed the ability for them to view attachments on the iPhone devices.
