Lotus traveler Address format

Hi…

I have installed Lotus traveler 8.5 and mobile phone users within ny domain can access their mails on the move.

The issue is that people(other domain) cannot reply to mails sent from the mobile phones because the address format is not right…but the address format is always right when we use our normal lotus Notes App.

Here is the format of what we get when we use Mobile Phones:

“Firstname_Lastname/domain%domain@domain.com”

What could be responsible for this??

We have had some addressing issues due to limitations of the native applications on Mobile devices. The only you mention is not know to us though. Can you also supply a sample of what the address looks like on when sent from Notes Client. Does this happen for all users, just some users etc.

Thanks.

Hi…

I would need your email address in order to use the mobile device to send a mail to you.

Thanks

Subject: The same issue. Do you have a fix?

Hi there. We get exactly the same issue. When sending an email from my iphone the replyto address is Martin_Rolph/Oval@oval.uk.com i.e it’s using the first name entry in my person doc + the domain rather than my internet address. This effects all traveller users, but works fine for emails sent from the notes client

Am using…

Domino & Traveller 8.5.1 on Win 2003

iPhone 3GS

Many thanks,

Martin
