Our Domino user “John Doe” has left the company, the users Apple device has been wiped and been set to Denied in lotustravler.nsf, Jon Doe has also been removed completely from Domino Directory and been put in the DenyAccessGroup.
I still get this error in console every 10 minutes:
Lotus Traveler: WARNING CN=John Doe/O=Acme User CN=John Doe/O=Acme on device primesync failed to login into the Lotus Notes Traveler Server. The user is using an invalid password or user ID.
Plese help me get rid of this error message/user.
I have restarted server and traveler several times, I have even added John Doe as not access server in the traveler tab in serverdocument (even though he no longer exist in DD)
In Lotustraveler.nsf view “Devices” john doe is Disconnected.
In Lotustraveler.nsf view “Users” john doe is Online. (this is very strange, everyone in this view is online even if I know they are not connected)

Subject: Lotus Traveler 8.5.2 - Device Primesync problem
did you delete the User from traveler=?
The command syntax for the deletion of users has been extended for version 8.5 of Lotus Traveler.
Use
‘Tell Traveler Delete ‘
instead of using
‘Tell Traveler Delete ‘,
whereas Device refers back to the Device ID of the mobile phone. It can be replaced by a * wild card, indicating all devices.
When using the delete command, bear in mind that the name of the user or device must not contain white spaces. Hence the short name of the user has to be used.
It is also important to note that the user to be manually removed from the Traveler database must exist in one of the directories of the Traveler server in order to resolve the short name.
Subject: delete
I can’t delete the user from lotustraveler.nsf using the delete command as the user is no longer in DD.
