Just upgraded our mail servers from 6.02CF2 to LD6.50. We are trying to setup the “smart upgrade” feature to upgrade existing client from 6.0x.
I’ve read thru quite a bit of posts here and couldn’t seem to find an answer to my issue. I am able to perform the client upgrade without problem… with one exception. The smart upgrade seems to have problem installing to path other than “C:\Program Files\Lotus…” We have users that have Notes insallted in “C:\Lotus”. I was able to get to the point where it finally installed to C:\Lotus. However, for some reason, it placed the “notes.ini” in C:\Program Files\Lotus\Notes" instead of “C:\Lotus\Notes”.
I have tried using different flags and completely removing Notes form the PC… still no luck. The command line we are using is “/qb!+”. The LD6.5 kit is located on a shared network drive (u:\setup.exe).
