generating PDFs with Notes causes program to create a temp .pfd on the root of the c:\Is there way to create the .pfd file elsewhere as we have a policy to prevent any files being created under c:\

I would assume the answer to your question is yes, but most likely some code you are using would need to be changed.

hi thanks, tbh i dont know at the moment, im a application packager, and one of our offices are using Lotus notes 8.5.2 and when they click on a client form and select view and minutes, it then has the option to generate PDF. All i know for now is that it does not have Adobe acrobat on the box, used procmon and found it tries to create a temp.pdf on the root of c: your question would probably mean they have customised LNotes codes, and could possibly change/redirect it, but im not having much luck getting the information i need from them, As ive never used LNotes.

You need to find out what it is and speak to the vendor.
