Lotus Notes vs. Centerstage?

Some people in my company are touting EMC Documentum’s Centerstage as a replacement for Lotus Notes.

Does anyone know about this product?

I understand it is a Web 2.0 replacement for their eRoom tool, but I am having a very difficult time finding out any useful information on it.

Their website is here:

As a Domino Designer, I wonder if it can it do all the things that Lotus Notes databases can do, or is it just “vaporware”?

Can someone post a comparison list of LN vs. CS capabilities?

I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask this question, but I am very frustrated and don’t know who else to ask for help…

Thank you,

Subject: Lotus Notes vs. Centerstage?

Not vapourware, but still sort of brochureware. That being said, even the good folks at EMC mention that content security is not CenterStage’s strong suit. Beyond that, there really can’t be an apples-to-apples correspondence between the set of all Notes applications and the set of all CenterStage (or eRoom apps, for that matter) – unless someone has managed to sneak in something like CouchDB as the store.
