As a Notes user, I want to learn how to keep column widths I set for my Inbox and many personal folders.I click and drag the columns to see the whole of the long persons name in the WHO column and a day or so later when I open Notes it has reset to the previous narrower width.
It is then only able to show me half the entries if all emails are from people with long names.
Notes 6.5.2 on XP Pro PC on XP Server.

Do you have any kind of Logon script running on your PC when you log in? I’ve seen some pretty buggy login scripts which copy old files over newer files, including files in the notes data directory from the user’s network home directory to Local or vice versa.

in your user preferences?
And there’s nothing running to overwrite your cache.dsk or desktop*.* files?
