Lotus Notes Traveler Help Desk Data Exposition

Greetings,

My company wants to give our Help Desk level 1 technician ability to manage Lotus Notes traveler devices (wipe, deletion and etc)

What I did was to give that group Reader access on LotusTraveler.nsf ACL database

Is there any concern regarding expose data (PIN info) to this group? In another words, will my Help Desk Level 1 technician be able to see email, calendar, contacts and etc from Traveler users? My understand is that all that data access is governed by the mail file ACL that is stored in another mail server. Is my assumption correct?

The user’s actual data is not stored on the Lotus Notes Traveler machine. By giving the L1 technicians access to the LotusTraveler.nsf will not give the L1 access to the users’ email or contact information.
