The problem:
After changing password through Windows, Sametime embeded stop working not receiving the new password.
No problem with Lotus Notes logon
Manually force the new password in the Sametime embeded preference correct the problem
It seem I need to enable something… or there is a real problem in the SSO mecanism between Notes and Sametime embeded
Notes Client version:
8.5.1 FP2 standard
single sign on service installed
NOTES: this problem do not occur with the Lotus Notes Basic (notes.exe -a)

Customer is trying to setup an automatic way to change users
windows, notes,
and Sametime passwords by only setting it one time. They are
using ID Vault and
this also resets the inotes and they are requesting it reset the
Sametime
password too.
Local fix
Manually change the Sametime password
