I had to format my PC and took a backup copy of my Notes application. I installed a new fresh Notes7 application and put back in the data folder my backup… The problem is that it won’t opened cause its says the database as Local Protection and you don’t have access… What can I do? im working localy…
Do I lost all my work??? for christ sake please help!!!

You need to use the same id so that it recognizes you as being a legit user. I don’t recall, but you may be able to access the properties that verify which user it is expecting.

The database has local encryption enabled. The only way you can access it would be to use the same ID file that was used to create it. If you don’t have that ID file, you’re out of luck.

Does it have local encryption, or just local acess controls? If it has local encryption, and you really don’t have any copies or backups of your user id, and you don’t have a replica on a server, you are out of luck. If you have only local access control, you should be able to open it on a server with full admin rights, if I understand them correctly.
