Hi, I had installed the Lotus Notes 8.0.2 without configuration. I found out the multi-user option is only available for Lotus Notes Client only from IBM website. But i am using the Lotus Notes installtion with Notes Client, Domino Designer client, and Domino Administrator. How can i enable the option for multi-user? Is it the only thing i can do is uninstall the existing Lotus Notes application and install back the Notes application with Lotus Notes client only?

Hi Nick,
To avoid any issues, I would suggest you backup your Core Notes Databases Files - i.e.: Desktop6.ndk, Bookmark.nsf, Names.nsf, Any Archive Database(s), ID File(s), and any other additional databases you feel you will require.
Then, I would uninstall your current Notes Client (as you are using the Full Client - aka All Client Install). Then, I would proceed with Installing the Client-Only Installation which gives you the option of installing “Client-Only” or “Multi-User”. From there, configure Notes as you would like, then shut your Client down, and path out to where your specific Data directory is (as Multi-User Installs will allow each user to have their own files), and you can then replace the newly created Database Files with the ones you backed up.
I hope this helps Nick!

Thanks. Bob. I got your idea. I think uninstall the current Lotus Notes is a better way.
