Lotus Notes mail dates does not match workstation date and time

Dear All,

One of our users have stumbled across a peculiar problem. Her emails from her Lotus Notes mail clients do not match her workstation system’s date and time.

Even those emails which arrive in her mail box bear date and time stamps which are not true.

We have taken a close look at her PC’s system date and time. Correcting the date and time, and adjusting it to the appropriate time zone has had a limited effect. Emails - both incoming and outgoing, display time stamps which go progressively behind the system displayed clock.

Please help. Many thanks in advance.

Subject: What is the Time/Date Difference?

Subject: Date time difference.

So far the difference could be narrowed down to about 10-15 minutes.

But the difference remains.

Subject: Same problem

I have several users with the same issue - replies to emails from Lotus users show the correct time, but replies to emails from Internet users show the time of the Internet email.

Any known bugs or solutions? Thx.

Thank you for your response.

Yes, I have. The problem remains.

Subject: Check Location Document(s)

Check the location documents - is her machine set to use the local PC time, or is it being set in the Location Doc?
