Hello Friends, I wanted to know about Lotus Notes future as Most of the Lotus Notes Project are converting from Lotus Notes to SharePoint or .net.
Can any one from IBM tell us. Will I continue with Lotus Notes to switch to SharePoint.

No, they’re not. IBM is committed to Lotus Notes and Domino as a platform. Version 8 (the current version) brought a lot of new capabilities to the Notes client, and Domino 8.5 (currently in public beta) adds a huge punch to Domino web development (in addition to the usual improvements in speed and scalability). Initiatives like the Lotus Foundations server appliance for the SMB market and Bluehouse hosted applications are opening the market to a new breed of customer, and Lotus has been steadily growing its business for quite a long time. Yes, Microsoft has won a few competitive battles, but so has IBM/Lotus.
The future of Notes and Domino in your organisation is largely up to you. It’s in the applications you write, and your responsiveness to the needs of your internal customer base.
