Lotus Notes Client 8 on Windows Server 2008

Hi,

I have been ask to install Lotus Notes Client on Windows Server 2008. So I have installed Lotus Notes Client 8.0.1 (Basic) on that particular server. After done the installation, I tried to launch the program to configure it. After the IBM Lotus splash screen, the client not responding anymore. My question is,

  1. Does the Lotus Notes 8 compatible with Windows Server 2008?

  2. If it doesn’t, which version of Lotus 8 could be used with Windows Server 2008?

  3. Any workaround that can make the Lotus 8 client workable with the Windows Server 2008?

Hi

I’m running the 8.0.2 client om my Windows 2008 Server without any problems. The first launch takes some time while cleanig useless stuff. Just wait.

Try to launch nlnotes.exe instead of notes.exe. It helped me ones.
