Lotus Notes 8 Client crashes upon relogin after automatic locking period

Dear All,

I work with IBM Lotus Notes of the following release, on Windows XP platform, at my place of work.

  1. Product: IBM Lotus Notes 8.5

  2. Release 8.5

  3. Revision 20081211.1925 (Release 8.5)

The current settings enable automatic locking of

my Lotus Notes client after 2 minutes.

I face a recurrent problem of Lotus Notes crashing after I re-login after an indefinite amount of time.

What makes this problem all the more peculiar is that the crash takes place not immediately upon logging. But, only after I try to refresh the inbox, or when automatic refresh is initiated.

I shall be very grateful if someone could please help me in settling this issue effectively.
