A user is having problems with email - when an email with an attachment is sent to her Lotus Inbox and BlackBerry, the BB unit has the attachment on the email but the Lotus email client inbox does not. They use Lotus 5.09, with a BES server.
What is the origin of the mail? In other words, what type of client sent the mail?
There has been a long-standing issue that certain Outlook clients don’t format MIME mail properly when forwarding mail with attachments, and the attachments don’t always show up in the Notes inbox.
Does the size of the email (in bytes, as shown in the Inbox view) make it appear that it could have an attachment?
If the Administrator (or another user) opens her mail fril from a different PC, does the attachment show?
Sometime we’ve found that if the user forwards the mail to herself the attachment could show, something that just came to mind - is this client really at 7.0.2? It seems that the last user we had that experienced this was at 6.5.3 and we upgraded them to 6.5.5 and the attchment showed up.
