I want lotus clients reach the domino server from internet environment to check them mails.
I already open the port 1352 in the firewall and I have an static public ip address pointing to the domino server.
But when I configured the internet location on my lotus notes and create the connection on the address book option, it still isn’t working.
What else can I try to made this kind of connection??
The public ip address should be the same as the one you can use to open you´re mail via web?
for example I have mydomain.com.mx as public ip address and if I want to access my mail via web I shuould have a link like this: mydomain.com.mx/mail/myname.nsf ???

Hi,
As you said, your server has a connection to the internet through a firewall with a static IP address, so the server side is finnished. Now to connect your clients to this server, you can do as:
Connect this client to the internet;
on Notes Client, do a File - Database - Open
Fill the “Server name” field with this public IP address (or a name if you have configured it in any DNS)
click on OPEN or press enter.
Voila. It should be working.
Now, on the same client:
open the following menu File - Mobile - Server Phone numbers
in the view you have a connection document to your server using the public IP (or DNS name)
Edit this document, and go to the ADVANCED tab
Replace the “*” in the “Only from Location” field to the internet location
