Hello all!
I have a query regarding the Lotus iNotes Sync Manager. Why would one want to use it?
We have a number of users who travel abroad and often use Lotus iNotes to access their e-mail via a web browser. But that is all they do. Read and send e-mails.
Would appreciate any info on this Sync Manager utility.

DOLS is a feature used by anyone who knows they will not have access to connectivity to the internet but still has the need to work offline to refer to mail and calendar etc. Once connectivity is re-established they can sync and keep everything up to date.

DOLS is installing a lot of web apps on your computer and creates a local replica of your mail base. From my point of view it’s lot of trouble in comparison of installing a Lotus Notes client…
