i have a question about how we could best implement our lotus domino infrastructure in our quality test environment. first of all, at the moment we’ve got one domino 6.5 server which hostname differs in windows and domino, because after a few upgrades our windows hostname changed to the actual version … srv-notes5, srv-notes6, srv-notes65… but in notes the name didn’t change at all … so its still srv-notes.
so we need a solution that let’s us:

add domino servers to test with different domino versions
-
upgrade domino servers easily
i thought of some kind of domino-subdomains, where we would have one domino server for each domino-subdomain, but actually i’m not very familiar with implementing domino infrastructures.
does anybody have an idea how we could do that?
