I have been assigned the tasks to install Lotus Domino 8.0 in our test environment to see how it works.
I am having issues when creating a new secret key in Lotus Administrator. Previously, I have never had issues with this using Lotus Domino 7.
When I create the secret key in Lotus Administrator 8, strange characters appear next to the Creation date field right next to the date.
In Lotus Administrator 7 this does not happen. I was thinking is this a bug with the Lotus Administrator 8 ?
I say this because we I try to decrypt a database that has been encrypted with this key, Domino generates an error and tells me that I do not have the correct keys.
However, this is not correct, because I specify the correct keys. As I have mentioned, this all works fine in Lotus Domino 7. Is there something different with version 8 ? Are those strange characters next to the creation date of the secret key I created meant to be there?
