Can a web user login to lotus notes server on a Lotus Domino LDAP 6.5 having a secondary directory?
User’s who will login is on the 2nd directory on a domino server that is on a separate domino organization/domain…
I can log on the domino server but only for the user who reside on the 1st domino server which runs LDAP, however for those users who are on the 2nd domino server which is also on a different domain/certifiter cannot login from the 1st Server?
I’ve already cross certified both server, already created Directory Assistance and configured it as LDAP, but still cannot login?
The purposed of this is that we have a websphere portal 5.1 that connects to the 1st domino ldap server, that has a login button. user on the Domino LDAP server can login on the websphere server, however for those users that are on the 2nd domino mail server, they cannot login…
BTW, i’ve also created a Web Access redirector on the 2nd Server, which works fine… If web user acces 2nd server, users on the 1st and 2nd server can both login to their emails, though the 2nd server mail users needs to enter user name and password twice…
The question is how can a user login to their email on 2nd mail server having on a different domain/organization? Primary login page is on the 1st mail server which runs LDAP…
SETUP:
Svr0 = Websphere 5.1
Svr1 = Lotus Domino 6.5.4 LDAP HTTP and MAIL, Svr1/companyA
Svr2 = Lotus Domino 6.5.4 HTTP and MAIL, Svr2/companyB
Where:
Svr0 connects to Svr1
Svr1 has a Directory Assistance configured. (names.nsf of Svr2)
Svr2 has a web access redirector configured.
Web mail users who connect to Svr2 can access their email either on Svr2 or Svr1.
Web user on Svr1 can login and authenticate on Svr1.
But, Web user on Svr2 CANNOT login and authenticate on Svr1?
