Lotus Domino Server won't start up after installation

I was asked to install Domino Server on another hard drive (new test environment) and it won’t start up. I don’t get any error message. What I find weird is that when Domino is installed on C:, it runs perfectly. When installed on D: then it doesn’t. Domino has to be installed on D (primary partition), as C is the boot partition.

Any ideas?

Domino 8.0.1 on Windows Server 2k3 SP2.

If you are using remote desktop to view the installation you probably aren’t seeing it on the remote server unless you have “Connect to console” checked in the properties for the remote session.
