Lotus Domino Server service

I have installed Lotus Domino Server 851 FP5 on Windows 2008 SP which is virtualized on VMware ESXi 4. I have problem with starting service Lotus Domino Server (Ddata), I am not able to run Domino as a service /automatic run service Lotus Domino Server), I am only able to run Domino as an aplicattion. It seems to be probaly problem of my OS settings. I can find in event log error message concerning to restriction to interactive services of my OS ID 7030.(By the way in my notes.ini I can find entry for ServiceName=Lotus Domino Server (Ddata)).

Has anyone this experience to this problem and has any idea how to solve this? Thanks

Hi,

deactivating the option “Allow service to interact with desktop” in Log On tab of the Domino service properties might help.
