I have had to install the Interim fix for the SMTP task maxing out the CPU on one of my servers. I installed this on a Windows server and also on a Linux server. When I check the installed version on the Windows server it shows me the fix is installed “Lotus Domino (r) Server (Release 8.5.2 HF16 for Windows/32)”. But when doing the same to the Linux server, all I get is “Lotus Domino (r) Server (Release 8.5.2 for UNIX)”. Is there any other way to confirm the fix is installed? on the Linux box? I have looked at the install log and it does go through an install, but at no point in the log does it reference the package it has installed, So I am still unsure if this fix is in place?
Subject: Not here
“Lotus Domino (r) Server (Release 8.5.2 for UNIX)”.
Where did you get that Information from.
Our unpatched Version shows
Lotus Domino (r) Server, Release 8.5.2
while IF1 shows
Lotus Domino (r) Server, Release 8.5.2HF17
I sometimes had the Problem, that Fixpacks did not update the files under
/opt/ibm/lotus/notes/85020/linux/res/C but instead
/opt/ibm/lotus/notes/85020/linux/res/de_DE.UTF-8
and one of the files there holds the version-information.
