Lotus 9 and Maverick

Hi, I’m having terrible trouble getting Lotus 9.0.1 to work on my Mac which i have just installed the latest upgrade to Maverick. I thought this might fix the problem but it hasn’t. Each time I try to open the program I get an error message that Lotus Notes quit unexpectedly. Does anyone have any solutions I could try? Thanks Miranda

Then I think you should remove Notes and reinstall it without old files. Delete the following files and directories and install Notes again:

  • IBM Notes (Program) → ‘~/Applications’

  • IBM Application Support (Folder) → ‘~/Applications’

  • IBM Notes Data (Folder) → ‘~/Users//Library/Application Support’

  • Notes Preferences (File) → ‘~/Users//Library/Preferences’

  • IBM Notes Installer.pkg (File) → ‘~/Library/Receipts’

  • Xpdcoreinstaller.pkg (File) → '~/Library/Receipts

  • IBM Notes Installer_Enlgish.pkg (File) → ‘~/Library/Receipts’

  • Eclipse Preferences (File) → ‘~/Users//Library/Preferences’

  • com.ibm.Notes.plist (File) → ‘~/Users//Library/Preferences’

  • Eclipse.plist (File) → ‘~/Users//Library/Preferences’

  • Eclipse.plist.lockfile (File) → ‘~/Users//Library/Preferences’

  • com.ibm.Notes.savedState (Folder) → '~/Users//Library/Saved Application State
