I know its a setting just can find it. We have a few users that retrieve email from their personal pop accounts. The problem we are having is that when they delete the messages from the client, on the next replicate, the emails that were deleted will be downloaded again. Also the client will download the same messages multiple times even though they already have been downloaded and have not been deleted. Can some one help?

We have been having a few problems with POP & 8.01
The setting you need to change is on the Account Document, Protocol Configuration Tab.
Change - Leave mail on server to ‘No’

The setting is set to leave a copy on the server becaus we have 2 users pulling the emails.
Lotus should know what it has already downloaded and not download again. At least thats the way Lotus works when downloading from Domino and the way most other programs work when downloading from a pop account.

Ok heres a update. We have two clients that work properly when downloading pop mail. When we use their profile on another computer with any version of notes, the have the same problem as the others. We have looked at notes.ini and all the settings on the two clients and compared them to the others that have the pop problem and can not find any real differences that would caus the problem.

Is the user telling the pop server to keep copies of each email on the server? If so they wouldn’t they always be downloaded at every replication?
