We upgraded to Domino 6.5 about 2 months ago. Recently I have been receiving more and more complaints about people’s meeting room reservations being lost.
During the upgrade I did not delete busytime.nsf (which someone suggested to me recently). I also did not make any changes (ie. template, etc) to the resource reservations database.
Do I need to delete busytime.nsf and restart Domino? I assume nothing ‘important’ is in there? Also, is there any Domino6 template update for the resource reservations database?
We recently upgraded our Resource Db’s from a 4.6.4 template to a R6 template, and lost a lot of our reservations as well. It seems that only the reservations created in workflow go “missing”. But, if you check the document count on the newly upgraded database against the document count of the old db (assuming you made a backup), you will find that it is the same. The problem lies within a view that is disabled be default after the upgrade. I will have to ask around the office to see how we fixed the problem, but aleast this is something you can start looking into (hopefully).
