I’ve been in the last few days trying to understand and solve a problem but without success.
I’m using DDE 8.5.2 only for xpage/database development and Eclipse for my java code. I have an old machine and DDE keeps running slower and hanging sometimes so I keep using Eclipse since Domino release 7 for my java coding.
Anyway, I don’t think that is the problem. I have axis 1.4 package and all dependencies in server java ext folder, including commons discovery 0.2 and commons logging 1.0.4. My business logic needs to connect to a webservice so i generate and put the axis client generated classes also into server ext folder.
Webservice is running ok when I trigger a java web agent via http. However calling it inside an xpage (via a managed bean) I get a http 500 error code and in notesdata/domino/workspace/logs the error message says “Invalid class loader hierarchy. You have more than one version of ‘org.apache.commons.logging.Log’ visible, which is not allowed.”.
I kindly appreciate any tips or experience share on this subject.
