We are not Vista users but experience exactly the same problem. We have a large number of users in Factory sites in which a number of users use the one pc and regularly switch id’s. We would like to provide them the 8 Standard client but this will definately cause issues.

We have experienced the same issue and have brought this to the attention of IBM. It is a known issue which they are discussing a possible fix for in 8.5 (this fall). Subject: Maybe a workaround
Same issue for me. However, I’m not changing locations so often but have found out that if I open the embedded Sametime client in a new window (right-click the options-menu) and then close that newly opened window then Sametime will often come back with all my communities again
