Loosing Domino Directory for workflow on routing mail

Our company has moved away from Lotus Notes for email functionality. Since moving to outlook I am having issues with sending mail via buttons on my lotus notes databases. Agents work fine however if I have a mail send in any of my code either formula or LS the end user will get an error message unable to send email… which when I look at their client and try to a mail memo the domino directory is not there in the to field. We can go to the location document and do a save and close and then it comes back. Also after doing the save and close on the location document it will stay for a bit of time then it disappears and they start getting errors again. It is not my code as it works for most users but not all of the users. I have tried to figure this out for days and have not been able to fix it. My users count on those emails for notification. I think it has something to do with the location document but I have tried everything. Can anyone give me some advice as to how to proceed. Any help would be apprceciated!!!

Thanks,

Terri

PS. I have searched everywhere with no luck. :frowning:

I have posted a solution for this previously, if you search for it. Search the forum for the word Outlook.

Sounds like you might have to modify all your code to run in agents on the server and mail from there instead…

Or talk to the people who decided to move away from Notes as a mail client and ask them how they suggest to fix it. I am sure your company hired some high-paid consultants for teh migration, they should have the answers.

Thanks for the responses. I am starting to understand why the options that Martha had given would not work it is due to the fact that the company has decided to move away from notes all together. So I am on my own to solve any issues. :frowning:

Any how thanks to all!!!
