Looking for Parameters to Manage Location / Eclipse / Connection Settings via Desktop Policy

Hi Guys

Following things i want to distribute over a Desktop Policy to Notes Clients:

  • create / set Location Documents
  • change Eclipse (Sametime) Settings
  • create /set Server Connection Documents (Contacts → Advanced)

i know where to do this in the Desktop Policy but i can’t find the right Parameters to use:

Does anyone have a List of Parameters you can set?

Thanks!
cheers

Hello Tibor,

Regarding your questions:

  • create / set Location Documents

You can’t create/push Location documents to end users, but you can set values on all locations via: http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/dominowiki.nsf/dx/Setting_Client_Location_values_via_Policy http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/dominowiki.nsf/dx/Setting_Client_Location_values_via_Policy

  • change Eclipse (Sametime) Settings

If you just want to know how to go about doing it, see: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/domhelp/v8r0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.help.domino.admin85.doc%2FH_USING_POLICIES_TO_ASSIGN_MANAGED_SETTINGS_TO_NOTES_CLIENT_USERS_STEPS.html http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/domhelp/v8r0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.help.domino.admin85.doc%2FH_USING_POLICIES_TO_ASSIGN_MANAGED_SETTINGS_TO_NOTES_CLIENT_USERS_STEPS.html

If your question is instead, about what the actual names/values are for ST we’d have to check with the ST team but we’d need to know specifically what you were trying to do. There is no general list of all possible managed settings.

  • create /set Server Connection Documents (Contacts → Advanced)
We currently cannnot push connection documents to end users.
