Long time opening mail or calendar entry

Hello,

some users (not all) complain, that the first opening of a mail or calendar entry takes some seconds. Next time they open mail or calendar entry, it is as fast as expected. All users are working on local replica of mail application. All user (which ones who notice the problem and which ones who not, are working with the same mail template).

Any ideas?

Subject: Check this…

check if the mail or calendar entry has some HTML embedded. If true, then check the preferences of the client and try to mark the “disable embedded browser” option.

See if that helps. As far as I Know, there is no way to configure this through a policy.

This could be a problem if you have IE8 or some “not supported” browser as the default.
